Just another random update

Sun May 18, 2008, 2:34 PM
Hello again to the people that watch me and random people that drop by my page. Things here have been rather busy, spent most of the last month putting together a benefit concert for a local childrens charity. I must say has hard of work as it was it really turned out to be the funnest and most rewarding experience of my life. Not only did I learn alot about promotion and and the technical aspects about putting on a major show, but also it just felt good to be giving back to my community in a positive way. I plan on doing more projects like this in the future but for the time being I'm taking a break from all that to work on new music and continue down the path of becoming a better photographer.

Speaking of photography i will be posting both new photos I've taken and some older stuff that I've gone over and decided I liked. Photography for me has always been about getting the thoughts in my head and the emotions I feel and putting them into a media for which the world to see. Photography is a very powerful media because it has the ability to envoke every emotion humanly possible, much like music which is probably why I have such a love for both forms of art.

While looking through my favorits here on dA i realized just how random they all have become and thought I would explain why i pick what I put in my favs folder. For some they are just simply pieces of art that have caught my eye and express emotions I feel. Other I pick are because they have an element in them that I wish to learn from. Most of the time those are photos that while may not be perfect have something special about them whether it be the light in or pose or back ground and anything in between. I have noticed me applying some of these lessons already and hope to continue to do so in to the future.

And finally I want to say thanks to my watchers and to the people I watch for giving me inspiration and a drive to become better, I realize my pictures aren't professional but with the help of these people I hope that someday they will be. I know I'll be getting close when I get my first DD but that may still be aways off.

We're nothing like God. Not only are our powers limited, sometimes we're driven to become the Devil himself.
Thanks for the :+devwatch:!

Hey, what's up?

Just wanted to let you know your gallery looks excellent from what I've seen. I'm an art student going into the field of Game Art and Design and I really need to brush up on my anatomy and life drawing. Would you mind if I sketched out some of your pictures?

Credit will be given, of course. And nice Iced Earth shirt and Jackson, btw =D How long have you been playing?

I've been playing for 15 years now. As far as sketching out some of my pics that is more than fine with me. I really appreciate you asking first. I would like to see them when you post them so message me if you would with a link to the deviation.

Yeah, no problem man.

Wow, 15 years. I've been messing around with it for about 6 years, but actually started getting into it about three years ago. I've got a Sammick TR-1, it's cheap but plays nice.

That's ok. Cheap guitars can play just as good as expensive ones if you adjust it right. And I don't recomend learning on a expensive guitar anyways
